Alec Tonjes attended the Performing Institute of Minnesota, Perch, and studied as an undergrad at McNally Smith College of Music.
Alec has been in quite a few bands that have played everything from post punk and math metal to Neo soul, hip hop, rock, jazz, fusion and electronic. Because there are many different paths a student can take, he encourages all his students to find what most umpires them.
